Set in the quiet hamlet of Monk Street, about two miles from the historic town of Thaxted, with it⣙s 14th century church, windmill and many other fine old buildings. “I stayed at The Farmhouse two weekends in a row due to work in nearby Saffron Walden. Different rooms each time and both were well equipped, clean, comfortable, good tv, with bath and shower. English breakfast was excellent and I had one bar meal that hit the spot after a long day. A friendly place to stay. Thanks!”
